Class: Aves

This Bird Class  is divided into about 30 Orders and they all have the following characteristics:

Body covered with feathers which are composed mainly of keratin
Bones thin, with air spaces
Forelimbs function as wings, not for grasping
Toothless beak
Body temperature is internally regulated
Heart is 4-chambered
